Individual Product Review :

Terre d’Oc - Oriental Fig Creme Eternelle Anti-Ageing Prickly Pear Face Cream

Texture : Clear, Light, Absorbes Quickly, suitable for HK weather

Effectiveness : Moisturizing (4/5), Anti Aging (3/5)

Smell : Lightly scented with fig, not too overwhelming sweet, good for face

Tips : There is a six months opening gap due to that it’s an Organic product, so do only open one jar every time in one period. It is both a morning and night cream, so 6 months is a reasonable time frame to finish a jar. Overall it is a product that I recommend, since it is quite an easy acceptable organic product and still delivers the purpose well.

Terre d’Oc - Oriental Fig Sparkling Prickly Pear (梨果仙人掌)Dry Oil

Texture: Runny, oil base with sparkly particles

Effectiveness: Sparkling (5/5), Moisturizing (5/5)

Smell: Lightly scented with fig just like the face cream, not too strong

Tips: This product is excellent with my personal high recommendations, it does it’s job perfectly without trouble and stays on well. One thing to remark is the sparkles do condense towards the bottom, so shake vigorously before use or else you will not get the result. I have tried it on my legs and the results are remarkable. Definitely recommend this product for all year round on body and hair (not face remember!)

Terre d’Oc - Oriental Fig Shower Gel & Oriental Fig Velvety Body Cream

Texture : Like normal shower gel with good consistency, body cream in good thickness 

Effectiveness: Cleans and feels refresh, body cream is moisturising. The body wash is enriched with prickly pear oil (aka cactus) so it doesn’t dry your skin out. (overall a 4/5)

Smell: Stronger than face cream and sparkly oil, but still very fresh fruity fragrance.

Tips: The reason I put the two products together to review is because I think it is most effective when used together, the smells stays a lot nicer when used all at once, so there’s no reason to separate the two!

TEST System: (3.5/5)

Overall, I speak very highly of this brand and will definitely get his other rangers to try very soon!

TOP Eats: Aqua launches ‘Sunset By The Harbour’ early dinner menu

Aqua Aqua Aqua, the luxurious hangout place with friends when I was in high school,
offers a two/three-course early dinner menu now.

  

 

 

The ‘Sunset Dinner Menu’ features some award-winning Italian and Japanese dishes in the house.
My dinner started off well with the very condensed Tomato Soup which the garlic crouton was the star.
It was crisp, well-seasoned and flavorful to accompany the soup.
You may also try the rocket salad or deep fried Tofu if you’re not a big fan of hot liquid to start your meal.

Moving on to the main course we had the very moist Cod Fish.
Yes, cod is known to have soft and delicate flesh but I wonder how the chef made it to be extra melty in your mouth.

If you are a meat-lover, go ahead for the beef cheek.
It is not the melt-in-your-mouth kinda protein because u can still identify floss of meat from each other, but it was definitely tender and mouth-watering.  

 

One thing we have to say is that the weak link in the dishes was the sauce. They were thick and a little bit overpowering. That’s why we were glad to flush the savory sauce down the throat with the drinks. They've designed a couple sunset cocktail drinks, which, are not meant to be paired with the dinner menu, but to enjoy it with, well obviously, the sun set.

This sunset menu is available for bookings made between 6 and 6:30pm, with dessert served at 8pm when the light show is on. But if you ask me, Hong Kong night view is considered one of the best regardless of the light show anyway, so what’s good about the menu and the drinks is the very reasonable price. There are less and less places offering a dinner set around $300HKD and drinks with 3 canapes at $100HKD with a dazzling panorama harbor and skyline view like this.
