Top Beauty: 2013 Autumn Chanel Makeup Collection

Top Beauty: Chanel 2013 Autumn Makeup Collection

This year F/W 2013 Chanel makeup is all about its cream blushes, it's a new item for Chanel and I am glad that they finally catch on with the rest of the boats in the makeup river!
Their cream blushes are quite moist, creamy and very full in colours. I think Chanel really took other blushes advantage and pulled it all together.

In the F/W 2013 Chanel Makeup there are :

These blushes are very smooth and very pigmented. I personally like the tan (61 destiny) and (63 revelation). I think all of the blushes are very carry-able, aside from the magenta pink (66 Fantastic) which would look perfect if it was a "focused on the cheek makeup", with very minimal eyes and nude lips.

Rouge Coco vs Rouge Coco Shine
It is a very minor difference, I would say the Rouge Coco is a bit more matte, and a bit more pigmented, where Rouge Coco Shine is a bit sheer, a bit glossier. Both are very smooth lipsticks which I give a big thumbs up as it is nice to have a nice smooth lipstick for the chapped lips during winter.

The Les 4 Ombres is a classic for every season.
This season, they are bringing back the simple smokey eyes colours. These colours are rather soft and buildable, so I would say is a good hit for beginners. Back to basics my dear!

Nothing much about the eyeshadows below, they are really nude and really "essentielle"! (I hope it means essentials!)

Lovely nail varnish, a simple rose pink. One coat already got the colour I wanted. Chanel polishes never fails me.

This Khaki Waterproof liner is very similiar to the Guerlain eyeliner, but if I had to choose I would choose the Guerlain one as the Chanel one is just not the colour for me. Not that it's not a nice colour, it's kind of in-between. A little lighter it can be an in-corner highlight, a little darker it could be a proper eyeliner.

Carrying the S/S 2013 Chanel makeup trend, they decided to go with colour mascaras again! This time, they made a bronze muddy colour mascara, don't know how good the colour will help with volume but the brush is definitely dense enough for the purpose.

Personally, I think the whole collection is beautiful. It's quite obvious Chanel put the weight on lipstick and cheek colours this season. There is one particular thing that I really like was the recommended pairings of lipstick and cheek colour, just like wine and cheese. Let me share with you.
